Dear Rice Lake Association Members/Public Users of Rice Lake/Neighboring Lake Association Members,
We have posted a draft amendment to the current Rice Lake Aquatic Plant Management Plan for a 21-day public review opportunity. The amendment goals are:
-
Manage the CLP Beds and Distribution
-
Maintain Navigation for Fishing, Boating, and Access to Lake Residences
-
Promote Protection and Expansion of Native Aquatic Species
-
Prevent Introduction of New AIS
-
Promote Awareness of CLP’s Impact and Educate Lake Residents on Water Quality and Lake Health
The Plan will be posted on our website from 11/13/24 to 12/4/24. This 21-day posting meets a DNR requirement that would allow for possible AIS cost-sharing grants in the future. Please post any comments/critiques in the comments section.
